Who We Are

Cheyland Rosenberg
President
I am a senior Marketing major with minors in Advertising, Digital Marketing, and Supply Chain Management at York College of Pennsylvania. I currently serve as the President of the American Marketing Association (AMA) at YCP), where I am passionate about helping students develop their professional skills, personal brands, and confidence as they prepare to enter the workforce. Through AMA, I focus on creating meaningful opportunities that empower students of all majors to grow, connect, and succeed.
In addition to my leadership role, I am an intern at Adhesives Research, where I gain hands-on experience in a professional marketing environment while strengthening my strategic and analytical skill set. I am also certified in Inbound Marketing and Digital Advertising, which fuels my passion for creating impactful, data-driven marketing strategies.
Outside of academics, I serve as the Marketing Director at Chick-fil-A Shrewsbury, where I lead innovative campaigns and develop strategies to drive engagement, brand growth, and community connection. Beyond my professional interests, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, going on hikes, and spending time with my partner, Aaron.
What I value most about AMA is its ability to open doors for students, by expanding networks, strengthening resumes, and providing real-world experience through collaboration and leadership. These opportunities have been incredibly impactful in my own journey, and I am eager to help pave the way for other students to find success both personally and professionally during my time at YCP.

Angel Cartagena-Luna
Treasurer
I am currently majoring in Marketing with a Finance major. I am certified in Tableau through LinkedIn. I am also bilingual. I enjoy spending time with my family, learning the word of God, and playing sports.
I believe AMA offers various opportunities for students and professionals across different industries to connect and network. Learning from others' experiences can open many doors for the future. I’m excited to share these opportunities with fellow students at YCP. It will be a great way to enhance both your skills and knowledge.

AMA has given me the opportunity to connect with driven individuals and create meaningful experiences that support professional growth.
In addition to my role with AMA, I serve as a Brand Ambassador for York College, a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council, and a First-Year Seminar Fellow, where I help guide first-year students as they transition into college life. I also work as a hostess at The Log Cabin, a fine dining restaurant in Lititz, PA, where I continue to strengthen my customer service and professional communication skills.
Outside of academics and professional involvement, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, relaxing outdoors, and finding new creative outlets that inspire me personally and professionally

Lujan Benites Alcaraz
Social Media Coordinator
I’m a junior majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Advertising and Digital Marketing. I’m originally from Paraguay, which means I’m an International Student here at YCP. I work multiple jobs on campus and stay involved in several clubs and organizations. I love being part of the campus community, staying active, helping others, and constantly looking for ways to grow both personally and professionally.
What I love most about AMA is how it creates real-world connections beyond the classroom. The workshops, guest speakers, and networking events are full of practical insights that help you develop skills you’ll use in your career. On top of that, AMA has an amazing community supportive, motivated, and full of people who are always ready to help each other grow and succeed.

I will be completing my internship at the Hershey lodge at Stacks, May through August of 2026.
