AMA-YCP Certificates & Badges:
Recognizing Your Professional Growth 

Silver Badge (Open to All Members) 

Eligibility: ALL MEMBERS (Paid & Non-Paid)
Purpose: Recognizes attendance at bi-weekly AMA sessions, workshops, and special events.
Tracking Method: Members earn a badge after each event attended. These badges can be uploaded to their LinkedIn profile.
 

👉  How to Earn: To receive a Silver Badge, members must RSVP on the website, check in at the event, and be marked for attendance.

Silver Excellence Badge

Eligibility: Awarded at the end of the semester to members who engage the most in AMA activities.
Purpose: Recognizes consistent participation across all AMA events, including workshops, networking events, mixers, and committee work.
Tracking Method: Members who attend the required number of events are automatically awarded an Excellence Badge.

Criteria to Earn:

• Must attend at least 5 AMA events in a semester.

• Must earn at least 4 Silver Session Badges from bi-weekly meetings.

Participation in one extra AMA event (e.g., special networking event, guest speaker, etc.).

Gold Certified Member Badge – For Paid AMA Members

Eligibility: Only for Paid Collegiate Members
Purpose: Recognizes students who officially join AMA as paid members, providing them with professional credibility.

Recognition:

• Gold LinkedIn Badge (Certified AMA Collegiate Member).

• Printed Membership Certificate (presented at the next mixer).

• Social Media Recognition on AMA Platforms.

Gold Excellence Badge – For Paid Members

Criteria to Earn:

• Must attend 5+ AMA events in a semester.

• Must earn at least 4 Silver Session Badges from bi-weekly meetings.

• Must participate in at least one committee or major event.

Recognition:

• Gold LinkedIn Badge (AMA Gold Excellence Badge – Outstanding Participation).

• Certificate of Excellence (printed & presented at the AMA Mixer).

• Social Media Recognition (shoutout on AMA’s LinkedIn & Instagram).

Gold Committee Member Badges – For Active Contributors

Eligibility: Paid Members Only
Purpose: Recognizes members who take on active roles in club operations.
Tracking Method: Must contribute consistently within their assigned committee.

How to Earn: Join a committee, complete assigned responsibilities, and actively contribute.​

Available Committees:​

Marketing Committee

• Helps with AMA’s branding, content creation, and promotional campaigns.

• Ideal for students interested in social media, graphic design, or digital marketing.

Events Committee

• Assists in planning & executing AMA networking events, guest speaker sessions, and workshops.

• Ideal for members who love event planning and organization.

Membership Committee

• Focuses on recruiting new members and fostering engagement within AMA-YCP.

• Great for those interested in community building and networking.

Large Gold Leadership Badges – For AMA Executive Board Members

Eligibility: Board Members Only (President, VP, Treasurer, Communications Coordinator).
Purpose: Recognizes student leaders managing AMA at a high level.

Responsibilities:

• President: Oversees all club operations, leads meetings, and manages relationships with AMA National & Central.

• Vice President: Supports the president, helps plan events, and manages committees.

• Treasurer: Handles finances, budgeting, and fundraisers.

• Communications Coordinator: Manages social media, email campaigns, and public relations.

Recognition:

• Large Gold LinkedIn Badge (Certified AMA Leadership Badge).

• Printed Certificate of Leadership (presented at the AMA Mixer).

• Exclusive Leadership Recognition Post on LinkedIn & AMA’s social media.

How to Earn: Elected or appointed as an AMA-YCP board member.
