Resume Building:
We have collaborated with Dr. Tacka, a highly experienced professor and reliable professional, as well as the Career Development Center, to host workshops on creating resumes that stand out in any industry. During these sessions, members receive actionable feedback, review real examples, and learn strategies to tailor resumes for internships and full-time positions.
Personal Branding:
We host interactive workshops focused on developing a compelling personal brand. Students from all majors learn to craft elevator pitches, develop cohesive social media profiles, and align their professional presence with their career aspirations. At a previous meeting, we covered elevator pitches, personal portfolios, business cards, and color theory, providing students with actionable insights to refine their professional presentation.
Certifications:
AMA-YCP members gain access to curated resources for certification opportunities from various sites such as HubSpot Academy, Coursera, LinkedIn, and AMA Collegiate courses. These certifications boost credibility for students pursuing diverse fields, from business to communication, healthcare, technology, education, and more.
LinkedIn Mastery:
Dedicated sessions help members optimize their LinkedIn profiles. We cover everything from headline crafting to networking tips, with examples of successful connections made by current members. For these sections, we go over tips and tricks and host communication-based meetings where we design and create the best profile for you, tailored to your professional goals.
